BioMess.US was started by citizen activists who are committed to oppose Biomass and Biofuel projects that are being funded by state and federal tax dollars that are borrowed from the Chinese and given to foreign multi-national conglomerates who flock to the US to build and construct these so called “Clean Energy” projects to reap huge profits for their shareholders.
Poor rural and primarily minority communities bear the environmental and health burden, but we all share the financial burden through higher taxes and higher utility rates.
